ekko partner GXStudios (gocrosscampus.com and pickteams.com) was featured in this month’s Inc. Magazine as one of the “Coolest College Start-ups” out there - all of the founders either are at Yale or have graduated from there.  They have a little contest going on between the featured companies that GX is leading.  If you get a chance check it out and vote.

In the coming weeks, GXStudios will be one of the first companies implementing the “ekko Bar” to allow real-time interaction between their users on site.  The ekko Bar has been called facebook messenger on steroids for every other site. Do we want the Bar to be associated with steroids right now? I just wanted to let you know that Yair Greenbaum, one of the founders of ekko, will be at Temple’s main campus tomorrow morning speaking on a panel about cloud computing.  He’ll be representing the smaller company POV, among representatives from IBM, Rohm and Haas, etc.
